Toxic culture with unprofessional conduct and retaliation
Pros
Weekly snacktimes and a soda fountain are not enough to compensate for the profound lack of ethical operating standards human resources abides by. I would advise against working with this company or for this company.
Cons
I am documenting my experience with Audio Enhancment to provide transparency regarding the company’s internal standards and management ethics. My tenure at Audio Enhancement was marked by consistent professional achievement; my 30-day performance review established that I was not only meeting expectations but exceeding them in several categories. Despite this documented high performance, I was terminated under circumstances that suggest a clear policy of retaliatory and discriminatory action. My termination occurred precisely one day prior to the effective date of my health insurance benefits—a timing that implies a calculated effort by management to avoid the assumption of healthcare liability. Furthermore, my absences for required court appearances—necessary while acting as a victim and witness assisting the State of Utah in a multi-victim, multi-felony SA case—had been explicitly cleared and approved by my direct management. The termination, therefore, stands in direct contradiction to prior management authorization and appears to be a targeted response to my status as a victim and my cooperation with law enforcement. Predatory termination tactics, Hostility towards victims of violent crime, Unprofessional conduct. Negligent Payroll Practices.
