Pros

They give you free food

Cons

No scalability - They refuse to mature after every merger they go through. 1 person is still expected to do the jobs of 5 people. No work life balance - Management will deliberately ask or expect you to work evenings and weekends. Horrible culture - Management are too swamped to train you properly, they also occasionally have power trips, You're viewed as a resource not a person, People are valued for being able to sweep issues under the rug not for trying to make things better Poor Management Style - Don't expect getting support or recognition from management, They want yes people and magic instant fixes to issues

Pros

Pockets of good people. Great office space.

Cons

Upper management is groomed to Jekyll and Hyde middle management personalities , is aware of it and allows this cancerous behavior to propagate due to personal relationships and not a professional one. It’s more comforting for upper management for one to quietly absorb bullying, degradation or abuse.
