Pros

I've been able to define my own role here. That's not something you hear often, but it's real. There's no rigid box you get put into. You figure out where you can create the most impact, and then you're given the room to go do it. And the people? They're always there to help you out, to help you be successful. It's not lip service. What really stands out is the alignment. Everyone understands and agrees upon creating customer value. From leadership to ICs, there's no politicking, no misaligned incentives pulling in different directions. Everybody gets it. That kind of clarity is rare and it makes a huge difference in how work actually gets done. The growth path is awesome too. Every day there is something new to learn, especially in the AI space. You're surrounded by people who are deep experts and who are building at the cutting edge. If you're someone who wants to learn fast, this is the place.

Cons

Like most scaling companies, we're in the messy middle right now. The pace is fast and things can feel chaotic. But to be honest, that's expected at this stage. It's designed to make sure we succeed, and if you understand that and lean into it, it's more energizing than draining.

Pros

1. Company used to have a decent onboarding experience & employee engagement for new peeps coming in. Haven't seen much of it in the last 6 months. 2. Helpful IT & Operations management team. Moving to a new place was a breeze with their assistance. 3. Had an amazing time working with the DevOps team. Kudos! #WillNeverForgetRuleNo2

Cons

4. Company culture is all gimmick & no play. Have encountered multiple peeps during my tenure who joined the company because of what was sold to them in terms of work culture, learning curve, and exposure one gets. But once you get there after an exceptionally long interview process, you'd soon realized that it's just the same as any other startup out there if not the crushing in these aspects. 5. The company pivoted in 2019 without taking the entire team into confidence. Have seen folks working day and night for months without a break. Although it was the right time to pivot, some empathy towards folks who were let go off would have helped. 6. Had a good run working with the middle management but the influence from 7- 8 Veterans is making the company toxic in terms of work culture. They control every aspect of things and the company's value usually doesn't apply to them. 7. Many folks left (or got fired) in recent times - the company started downscaling and the reasons were ambiguous. 8. Off boarding process is a perk given to selected favorites. In the eye of management, not everyone deserves that no matter how hard they have worked during their tenure. 9. Company has taken various initiatives to create a feedback mechanism to improve the efficiency of every team member. But these feedback are often subjective, hence poorly reflected on, and is often linked to one's variable salary pay. + this mechanism is non-existent for top management. 10. The salary offered is not competitive and as per industry standards. You do get a team of professionals to work with, but you (along with them) would be treated as commodities rather than assets.
