Pros

I love my company because they work hard to stand behind their word and live our values. They let me be creative and show up authentically. Plus we do amazing work for people living with Mental Illness or Substance Use Disorders. The pay and benefits are better than anywhere else I've worked.

Cons

None that are concerning now.

Pros

They offer insurance it's Kaiser so I'm not sure that's really a pro. Generous PTO.

Cons

The upper management acts like they care but it all appears to be a façade. This place is incredibly difficult to work for. The employees of this organization complain about utterly ridiculous things and then management tries to appease them. While this may seem good they do not actually try to fix things in the organization that matter. Employee morale in the organization is very low. Communication in the organization is near non existent, an excellent example of this is that in April a C-level executive disappeared one day we all received a 2 line email from that executive but the management of the organization never addressed anything about this departure. When I started working at this place we were told they were growing rapidly upwards of 40% per year, months after I begin a large layoff happens. Would have been nice to know they were growing the staff but didn't have the revenue to support it. It's now scary because none of us can trust anymore what the upper level management is telling us. Policies and procedures are routinely pushed out but never enforced leaving everyone lost. There is no communication between departments. There seems to be a lot of directors that have been here a while. They get whatever they want because they have been here for a long time. What the management doesn't understand is that this is detrimental to the organization. Some of these directors are downright RUDE and NASTY. This kind of behavior is running off the new people that start here. VERY HIGH TURNOVER!
