Pros

- Wonderful design department, great vision, and collaboration, and leaders - Engineering wonderful developers who collaborate well with designers.

Cons

- The product management department is a mess, individuals with little to no PM experience are put into senior roles from different parts of the company, Designers are expected to do the PM job which is not a problem if they are paid for it and the PMs are removed.

Pros

The actual projects you get to work on, and working with clients. There are some team member (who don't participate in the boys club) that are really kind and fun to work with.

Cons

Mostly, it's a boys club. If you don't fit exactly in their little view and don't placate to their male-dominated ideals they stomp on you, give all of your projects to others, and fire you for 'things we talked about' without ever actually caring about your body of work. specifically, missed meetings that were scheduled while I was teaching, forgot to put a header in an email once, and pitched a question to a person next to me because I didn't clear it with 'the boss man' first. Masaginist leadership at all levels of the organization, EP isn't so bad but there is a lot of garbage humans running around at the top and in middle management. They only thing they care about is their own legacy and don't care who they hurt to get there. Don't know what instructional design is or how it is supposed to work, the firm was unable/willing to set clear measurable goals for subordinates. They created an atmosphere of fear and distrust. They put women in charge of non-promotable projects and encouraged men to apply for the position but did not do so for women. They set double standards between men and women. The team was horribly managed, undervalued, and you were always waiting for the day you were going to get fired. They said you could have an alternate schedule then would punish you for following that schedule.
