Pros

The colleagues were friendly, and the tech side of the business featured some exceptionally talented individuals. The technology space was engaging and innovative. The role offered a commendable level of autonomy.

Cons

Adarga has consistently failed to pay its staff on time since September. November's pay was two weeks late and eventually arrived in mid-December, while December's pay remains unpaid as we enter the second week of January. The CEO and senior leadership have repeatedly misled staff about payment timelines. Initially, we were told that the delay was due to money "working its way through the system" from the USA. However, it has since become clear that they are struggling to secure funds from an investor. This lack of transparency and poor communication typifies life at Adarga. It seems as though much of the senior leadership, many of whom come from military backgrounds, operate with a "need-to-know" approach, which creates a parent-child dynamic with staff. The company is completely directionless, with a senior leadership team that is ill-equipped to manage a tech company. The absence of strong leadership from the CEO has led to constant infighting among senior executives, each vying to position themselves as the saviour of a sinking ship. Adarga is excessively top-heavy, structured like a mid-sized company but without the revenue to sustain it. This lack of revenue has left the business directionless, with priorities shifting constantly in a desperate attempt to generate income. However, nothing is properly planned, and when work is completed, it is rarely marketed or presented to potential customers. Instead of having a cohesive advertising strategy, the company relies on blog posts and LinkedIn updates from the marketing team as a substitute for effective promotion. Avoid at all costs

Untrustworthy Leadership

* Severe financial mismanagement leading to unpaid pension contributions since August 2024 * Consistently late salary payments since September 2024 with no advance warning * Leadership deliberately withheld critical information about the company's financial status * 50% job cuts announced in early 2025 * Failure to deliver promised redundancy payments and holiday rebates on time * Rigid, hierarchical management structure that stifled innovation * Top-heavy organisation with excessive management layers with preference to former-military leadership What began as a promising career opportunity devolved into a professionally damaging experience due to leadership failures. The company's financial struggles were poorly managed, but the truly unacceptable aspect was the deliberate choice to keep employees in the dark about missed pension payments and impending salary delays. This lack of transparency forced staff into precarious personal financial situations with no opportunity to prepare. Rather than being upfront about challenges and allowing employees to make informed decisions about their futures, management chose to string along staff with empty promises of imminent resolution. The subsequent layoffs and continued payment issues only confirmed what had become apparent: the leadership team prioritised self-preservation over their legal and ethical obligations to employees. To any potential applicants: I strongly advise against joining this organization unless there is concrete evidence of complete leadership turnover and fundamental changes to financial management and communication practices. The damage done to employees' financial well-being, professional development, and trust cannot be overstated.

Avoid like the plague

Pros

There are currently no pros, unless you like to work for free or having a side job of setting contingencies to pay for bills.

Cons

The company has no money and not enough employees to make anything remotely successful. This is a company with 9 years in the market that had to downsize to something akin to a freshly made startup that just got their pre-seed funding. Most of the company was either made redundant or left on their own volation, and the people that decided to stay for whatever reason, constantly take breaks off working because they arent getting paid. The company has left employees to fend for themselves for more than half an year now, not paying on time once every since! At the time of this review, the people that staid havent been paid for whats now nearly 2 months, and the people that left havent been paid anything, being redundancy money, holidays, remaining working months, etc.., and absolutely nobody has been paid pensions contributions since last year either, and not only the company contribution, but the company has also decided to steal our own contributions aswell! This has to be considered fraud! The company has constantly provided contradictory explanations for the situation, never providing concrete evidence or proof of anything, they just ask you to trust them and work for them for free while they pay you nothing. Even in the absolute best scenario that they somehow get their hands on some money to pay both current and former employees, theres 0 chance they will be successful in the future, there are a billion other companies doing what Adarga failed to capitalise on, and those companies have far more stability. They will likely never be able to hire anyone competent again so they will need to rely on cheap overseas contracts, so good luck competing with everyone else on an already very nich market. So, if you want to work on a place that has a future and pays your bills, avoid this one.
