Inconsistent flow of work, opaque system in terms of brief allocations, amendment request deadlines set unilaterally and unrealistically. The management tends to also "side" with the customer no matter how irrational their requests are. For example if a customer asks for an amendment that was not specified in the initial description or to change a result that is logically derived using scholarly methods, the management team will still ask writers to cave in and do what the customer says. It can be quite demeaning to have to give in to customers' tantrums, especially when one receives the amendment request with a time horizon of two hours.
