There is a culture of professionalism and praise here like few other companies. Employees are constantly praised for going above and beyond in their jobs and that creates an environment where everyone is working hard to achieve the company goals. Safety is a huge concern at this company and everyone is watching out for each other. Employees are friendly. The company rates very high with quality and on time performance with customers. Many of the managers, supervisors, and employees have been around a long time and know the business. Most employees are highly skilled in their fields. There are lots of opportunities within the entire organization to learn other jobs or move to other locations on the west coast. The company is profitable and always hiring so there is lots of job security.
Cons
Some departments are tightly staffed and hours might be long, especially during the busy season. Making changes can take a very long time or not happen at all when the ideas aren't coming from management. The hiring process is very selective and time consuming so new applicants have to be patient.
