Pros

None, too many changes and no steady work. only thing is you get to work from home but they are slowly doing away with that and asking people to go into work

Cons

SO they were under AM TRACE but left that page because they went to AM LLC. DON'T BE FOOLED by these reviews they aren't about the covid-19 company they created. make sure you type in AM TRACE REVIEWS first and read the REAL reviews on this company. Don't get fooled. working 6 days straight, and they fire people left and right.

Pros

Positive atmosphere but is a growing company , 100% remote

Cons

Salary not competitive, Benefits not competitive and expensive, a large team of direct reports, HR with limited functions to support managers, emphasis on Project "Manager" of people with a ton of HR related headaches that account for 90% of a typical work day; Constant staff turnover, can involve 50% or more travel depending on the project, work/life balance is hit or miss, favoritism, lack of real diversity, no support from leadership, no 401K match, no bonus, no annual merit increase

Thank you for your feedback on the positive atmosphere, and the candid and tangible observations and feelings you've shared to help constantly improve AM. The HR Function has just added a team member that will focus entirely on compensation and benefits to ensure that we continue to offer wages that are consistently in the top percentiles for the position. We will be sure to relay the concern of employee management listed with the team of Human Resource Business Partners that are deployed across the agency and available to Project Managers. As a provider of services, managing colleagues as resources to deliver work will always be a part of project management in this environment. As you've mentioned certified project managers, this closely aligns with the components of 'People, Process and Environment' as a part of the Project Management Professional (PMP) curriculum. Many of the areas you've identified as concerns with the position are objective, and are listed in positions as they are posted for recruitment, and we will continue to try and set that expectation at hiring through the continued inclusion in interviews and job offer documentation and letters. I am disappointed to hear of situations you've observed that don't align with our expectations on leadership and accountability. We will continue to solicit feedback and make changes to improve those areas, as constant improvement is an organizational goal. Pros

No pros to say. Just a waste of time.

Cons

This is a very small company lying there way up the corporate ladder. Turnover is huge. Don’t work here! The COO is inexperienced and Un knowledgeable of company structure and how PMs manage projects. There’s always a lead. Glad I’m gone. I went on to work for # 1 company. Run for the hills. Inexperience PMs working with an experienced PM. Messing up the entire project. What a mess. Company is cheap. You work 60 hours to get mistreated. Shame on you

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and perspective. It is a point of pride to deliver services to communities and beyond, from an invested organization. That begins with client-facing members, and extends to the Executive Team. Our investment in our colleagues is one we take very seriously, and as I attempted to collect information to better understand how to resolve these issues - which don’t describe acceptable action or behavior - I am unable to locate a Project Manager or similar role that left AM during the mentioned time.
