      - Living in Duluth - Good 401(k) match - Big fish in a small pond - but that also leads to downsides

      Cons

      - Promotions given on length of time with the Company not on performance - Thick glass ceiling - Definitely a good ole boys club environment. - Stuck in their ways and arrogant - No diversity in workforce - all from Northern MN with no differences in backgrounds/thoughts. If you are millennial or Gen Z think twice about working here. - No creativity or working to try new things. Not open to younger people's ideas because "this is always how we have always done it". - Poor leadership

      Prestigious company with a good reputation. Good work environment and opportunites.

      Cons

      Cyclical market with layoffs. Even though the company has a reputation for steady security, the energy market has changed in the last several years and they have needed to layoff employees in mass three times in 5 years.
