Pros

Camaraderie between co-workers, which can feel like a family vibe. HR personnel that cares about you. An environmental field that may never go away.

Cons

It has started to feel, lately, that management cares more about saving money, than keeping employees happy. They have placed new mandates on raises, cut the quarterly recognition events, and don't really show appreciation to the employees bringing in their profits.

I can't think of any right now.

Cons

It was all bad here. I was conned into this job, and thrown under the bus regularly by a manager who made $150K a year. I did not even come close to making that amount, but was expected to do more than that person.

Decent pay, they catered lunch sometimes, it was hard to get fired.

Cons

Management allowed for crass locker room talk and racism. There didn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to promotions or pay raises. Some people got 'promoted' without a raise, and some people never move upwards and get consistent raises (so long as theyre a higher up's kid or play golf with the boss on the weekends). You certainly don't need any sort of formal education to work here, even in chemist or PM roles. Someone with a highschool education who's best friends with the boss will pass you up regardless.
