Great to start, not to stay

Pros

Alright job to start at if you need a resume filler, the few good team members were the best part of the job

Cons

You end up doing the same job everyday, and they wave growth in front of you without actually being able to offer any. The csuite and senior management team have no idea what they’re doing since it’s their first time too but they use it as an excuse to run a family company that only benefits themselves. There’s false/no opportunities for growth and very low pay. Very unprofessional environment with constantly changing rules and processes that they themselves can’t keep up with. Lack of training and resources across all departments. Poor communication styles, which added to making the job exhausting in every way. More than half the company has left in the last year, but they rely on lies and fake Glassdoor reviews to get them by.

Pros

Flexible work environment and remote working. The only benefit of the company.

Cons

Only cared about sales. Never properly trained or cared about their employees. A family-owned company so only focused on getting their money not on their employees in any aspect. No personal connection. Micromanaged.

Not a Great Experience

Pros

Really amazing medical benefits, and the leadership team is very involved and accessible. Colleagues are very supportive and friendly. There are frequent promotion opportunities based on revenue brought in, but this caps out quickly. When I left they were in the process of bringing in experienced PR professionals to lead the distribution team. A step in the right direction if you ask me (but not nearly enough)

Cons

Salaries are low for the amount of work required and daily pressures of the job. At the highest level, you're looking at around $75K. Very high turnover!!! Typical agency hours. Plan to work 60+ hours per week if you want to hit your targets. (not kidding. 12 hours days on the regular just to meet targets. Not for promotion of any kind) A typical day involved prospecting for new contacts to email at Fortune 500 and other companies with high earnings, sending as many cold emails as possible, and jumping on sales calls to read a scripted pitch to prospective clients. The work is incredibly boring and repetitive, and people get burnt out quickly. 2 weeks advance notice needed to use PTO, and at least a weeks notice required to take a half day. I wound up using a lot of sick days to run errands or recover from burnout.
