Redleaf Group likes to grow seed companies into money trees. It loans capital, counsel, and administrative and operational support to pre-seed and seed-stage technology companies. The firm's partner companies are managed through a network of some nine offices in the US, all of which are located in principal technology centers, as well as through an office in the UK. In an effort to connect with ideas and technologies in their infancies, Redleaf also operates a technology transfer program, partnering with university technology transfer offices, research departments, and entrepreneurial programs, as well as business incubators.
