Description Relax, breathe deeply, and repeat after me: Frantic Films provides visual effects to the film industry. Frantic Films has worked on such films as X2: X-Men United, Swordfish, and The Italian Job. The company has also produced programming for several cable channels in Canada (such as the Discovery Channel, History Television, and Life Network). In addition, Frantic Films has a division devoted to the production of branded content and commercials. Frantic Films was founded in 1997; about a decade later, the company spun off its visual effects software division to Prime Focus Group.
