The hub of the network is Porter Valparaiso Hospital, an acute care medical center with more than 300 beds. Its Portage Hospital Campus has 33 private inpatient suites and provides pediatric care, adult care, intensive care, and diagnostic imaging services. The network also includes clinics and community health centers, outpatient facilities, and primary care physicians' practices. Hospital giant Community Health Systems acquired the group, then named Porter Memorial Health, in 2007.
