Great benefits and many opportunities for overtime.
Cons
If policies exist for many of the daily functions of the hospital, they are poorly disseminated to the employees. We do not have a place where we can look up current policies for specimen collection, basic patient care, and certain drug administration protocols. Other hospitals I have worked at have had competency days throughout the years for the hospital as a whole to ensure all departments were organized and consistent.
