As one of the oldest and most reputable charities in both Alberta and the animal welfare sector, the Edmonton Humane Society (EHS) strives to be a model of excellence in the advancement of animal welfare and to lead the movement in creating a more humane world. EHS provides veterinary treatment, behavioral rehabilitation, care, enrichment and second chances to the homeless, neglected, and abandoned companion animals who come through their doors each and every day. Beyond animal sheltering, EHS engages with the community through various programs and services to support happy, lifelong bonds between people and pets.
