Very basic interview, very unimpressed and disappointed with the feedback as to why I wasn't put through to the second stage role - because I didn't mention that Tombola sponsor Sunderland Football club, Emmerdale and Loose Women. I'm not a football fan, I do not follow it at all, nor do I watch soaps such as Emmerdale or Loose Women and it is totally unreasonable to reject someone for not mentioning about sponsorship deals in my opinion. Had they have wanted these answers, I feel the interview should have been structured better or nudged candidates towards the question by asking if they were aware of any sponsorships. I mentioned the company's values and I feel that is far more relevant than mentioning their sponsorship deals. Very poor interview, they are expecting candidates to come back with very strong answers to weak questions.
