I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Ciudad de Mexico) in Feb 2024
Interview
It was a 2 month process which included the development of a business case and interviews with the people involved with the role.
The team asked interesting questions to check exactly what they were looking for in the person.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Paris) in Dec 2023
Interview
1st interview: HR in UK, questions about background and motivation.
2nd interview: hiring manager in France/Spain, explanation of matrix structure
3rd interview: Business case with days to work on it.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group in Sep 2021
Interview
There were 4 rounds of interviews for this position, due to covid all were virtual. The first one was with a recruiter in the Mexico office, the second with some team members, the third with a manager and the last with a VP. The interview process with Lego is lengthy, there was probably a week between each round and they all lasted about an hour, so overall with 4 rounds it took a month to complete.
The interview round with the manager was partly situational where we worked through some tasks together. Beware that you shouldn’t give them any ideas they can use for their business because you may not get hired by them in the end! I suggested something for their site presentation that the interviewer said was a fantastic idea and then they totally ghosted me after the fourth round. I couldn’t even get a response back from the recruiter on the status and had to login to their job portal to see my application status was “not accepted.” I think if you spend a month interviewing with a company they should at least provide the courtesy to tell you yes or no.
