Yes, we agree that our recruitment process is longer compared to other companies. The long recruitment process - also the test assignments - can be beneficial to the candidate. For example, if the candidate did not succeed in having a job offer, the person has materials for learning and upgrading his/hers skillset. We are convinced that this process with each candidate is not a waste of time.
We understand the disappointment when a rejection is received after hard work instead of an offer. Since we are open to IT newbies without previous work experience, the long recruitment process, and test assignments have proven to work best to understand if both sides are ready to agree on the employment.
Regarding gaining experience, that is true and a promise we keep religiously. Once we have agreed on the employment, you will have a supportive team and a mentor to reach out to for advice. However, before that in the test assignment, you have to prove that you can be independent and have a basic knowledge base to kick start from.
Also, regarding raised salary topic, it is important to note, that initial salary levels for juniors are junior-level. We train and invest in the newcomers for weeks and months (training courses, mentoring, and other resources), so they can become independent employees and successfully work on real-life projects.
