I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at kW Engineering (Salt Lake City, UT) in Nov 2021
Interview
The interview was very laid back and I feel like my skills were praised while my deficiencies in knowledge were met with a "we can work on that" mindset. There were 3 total interviews. One with the principal of the office. One with the head of the department in which I would be working, and one with a principal of the company for the department in which I would be working.

Interview
Started off through a phone informational Interview to all way till the Principal, Streamlined and Friendly. They looked for passion towards the job and how much you got to deliver.
Emailed with resume & cover letter, follow-up about a week or two later scheduling initial/screening interview with a project manager. Super easy-going, general questions related to experience and personality. Follow-up interview with the principal of the location I applied for went similarly - cultural match was big draw for sure, especially in contrast to EnerNOC guy I talked to, who was snobby and unpleasant. But yeah, second interview zeroing on if I'd fit into the location well, more talk about specific job description, etc. Went as well as any interview could go!
