General HM screen followed by a ML System Design Interview and an ML Coding Interview. HM screen asked about why I'm interested, my background, basically probing for fit. ML System Design interview went deeper into a specific contrived problem, and the coding interview asked me to train a model on a basic Kaggle Style problem. I did fine on system design but it was my first time writing a full model training loop within ~1 hour so I think that's where I did bad.

I had a very odd interview experience. The company offered an offensively low salary for the role, so I immediately declined in writing. Five days later, they responded with a “rejection” of me — after I had already turned them down. The whole process came across as disorganized and unprofessional. I ended up canceling my subscription and moving on.
