      Interview

Very easy. I applied online and then was called a few days later for an in-person interview with the manager. The interview was about 20 minutes and I was offered the position on the spot.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at francesca's (Wayne, NJ) in Apr 2013

      Interview

Come in for an interview, pick out some outfits with jewelry to match for them to evaluate. They give you a few occasions to dress for. They then tell you what they liked or didn't like and how you can make it more in the Francesca style, which is supposed to be very girly and bright. They also want you to take Francesca's VERY seriously, as if it's your life. Also, say that you get along great with other girls (even though many of the girls are moody, catty and gossip, they like to pretend they don't have a tolerance for it. The manager is guilty of it too). That's about it for the interview process. And pick up your phone constantly. I missed a call once and called the manager right back within 2 minutes because i walked outside to call her (I was in a crowded restaurant at the time) and I got the biggest, most uncalled for attitude about it.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions are pretty straightforward: Why should I choose you? What is fashion to you? Why francesca's? Describe your personal style.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at francesca's (Universal City, CA) in May 2020

      Interview

Easy interview process over the phone at first then followed up with an in-person interview. I wanted something simple, an easy commute, and something to pay the bills to be quite honest. I love shopping and fashion so I thought a boutique would be perfect.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at francesca's (Roseville, CA)

      Interview

My process started four years ago and it’s been a long ride with this company. I first applied in September 2015 when i had left my first retail job at Macy’s , i was there for a year and a half . I applied to Francesca’s and after a week of not hearing anything i called the store and she booked me an interview or two days later. The interview went okay, i wasn’t bad but i wasn’t fantastic either. Overall it was average but i really wanted to work there , she told me she had more interviews and i would hear back within two weeks. I never did so i knew i didn’t get it. This company is VERY picky, they only hire girls who have over the top retail experience and lots of energy. Four years have passed and I’m almost 24 now and I’m still in retail. I’ve worked at ten different stores and different kinds of retail from Santa photo booth to being a wedding stylist at David’s bridal . I currently work at Loft and i Love my job but i wanted another job to make ends meet. I thought of Francesca’s and i decided to apply again. I’m now living in a different city for school six hours away. I applied for the Sales Lead and she called me three weeks later to set up an interview! I was excited and the interview Went wonderful . After being in retail so long, I’m no longer shy like i was in my first interview. I’m bubbly with a lot of energy and the store manager saw that about me. And i still love shopping here and it showed. She said she had more interviews and would call me the end of the week to have a second interview . Days passed and i didn’t hear anything and i was disappointed because i thought i nailed it. She called me 9 Days later and told me she gave the Sales Lead to a girl who already worked for her, they only like to promote inside which made sense. But she really wanted me to work for her and agreed to be a stylist but i needed to interview with the assistant first. Two days later i had the second interview and it went VERY well again! She loved me and told the store manager to hire me. Two hours later she called me to tell me i was a perfect addition to their team and i accepted their offer! I had my first day and it was a lot of paper work . Francesca’s is VERY guest oriented, if you aren’t energetic and if you don’t have at least two years of one on one customer service, you’re most likely not going to get hired . Take it from me, it’s taken me four years of building up my retail career to finally work for this company but in the end it was worth it! Excited to work here! ALSO both first interviews i had to pick an outfit for a wedding occasion and this last one was a wine tasting event.
