The first step of the interview was to record yourself, answering questions. I found it great that the questions were asked by the hiring manager. So both sides were recorded. It was quite fun. As a follow up from the video recording, I was contacted via email to be invited to a face to face interview. Before that, we had a call with the recruiter. The recruiter was very nice and welcoming. However, I have feedback towards the way the latter part of the conversation went. The location of the office is not ideal. So, I asked if there is any flexibility in the working culture and whether working from home is at all feasible. The recruiter said "Yes, we are very flexible. But you wouldn't be able to work from home in the first 18 months". I thanked for the nice conversation and said it will not work for me. Please do not say you are flexible. 18 months is a duration in which I could easily move to another role or company.
