      Scala/Senior Java Developer Interview

      Feb 9, 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Munich, Bavaria
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at dataWerks (Munich, Bavaria) in Jan 2018

      Interview

First I've been contacted by the recruiter, we agreed on a skype interview time. The first interview with about 1 Hour, divided mainly into 3 parts, the recuriter did her part by interducing me to the company and the job, and then questions by the Product Owner about how you understand the whole process works. The most part was some questions about Scala the language. It was pretty straing quesions. All the 3 guys, the Recuriter, the Product Owner and the Developer all are good, the whole interview as good. I got the replies few hours back to prepare for the next more-deep technical interview. The second interview was with 2 techincal guys, and was good as well, they asking deeply experience-related questions. They asked Scala questions and other questions related to the toolchain used with scala and questions related to the data work they do. I got learened something new from the guys who interviewd me, they were very powerful, very helpful. Hint: To pass this interview, you need to have a real experience with working with data.
