Interview
I got invited for a trial in a Natural History Museum, after a short interview I even got told there might be a position open to me as a permanent staff due to my experience. Afterwards the trial got cancelled due to issues with the restaurants hot water, promises of a reschedule were made by the manager.
I sent an immediate re-trial request via email and a follow up message, since there was no contact on their side. After being offered a one singular day that I couldn’t attend, I asked if I could come on the last trial day mentioned in the initial invitation email. No response.
I know hospitality sector can be stressful but it is no excuse to disrespect peoples personal time and money spent to get to the site only to be ignored. As far as I know management gets paid to, indeed, manage these situations.
