I applied online. I interviewed at bareMinerals (Lehigh Valley, PA)
Interview
In person interview went really well, took in my portfolio talked to manager for 90 mins. Next I had a phone interview that was awkward with a assistant manager, she was blunt and rude I had loads of makeup artist experience and I also 2100 hrs of cosmetology education. She treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about. I actually ended up emailing the CEO and human resource managers about their interview process, it was unorganized and I knew more about esthetics than the managers and other that worked there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
what product is most important between men and women. Men and women are 2 diffferent skin types and need to be seperated in that question.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at bareMinerals (Nashua, NH) in Nov 2021
Interview
The interview itself was very casual. I went to the store and the general manager asked a few questions about my previous retail experience and interest in BareMinerals as a company as well as my interest in skincare and makeup. I was hired immediately at the interview.
Walk in to small back room. They interview you. Great management/ attitudes. Ask you questions about makeup and retail experience. Show willingness to learn and grow. Very easy interview process.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at bareMinerals (Baton Rouge, LA) in Mar 2019
Interview
Interview process includes hand on makeup application as well as standard interview questions. It was pretty straightforward. The makeup application portion included two segments. You had to bring a model and perform a daytime look and a nighttime look on the model.
