The interview process was very misleading. There were 2 interviews. The first “interview” was going in and meeting an associate for about 5 minutes. The person I “interviewed” with asked if I had any leadership experience and was very passive and wanted to move onto the next candidate as quickly as possible. I didn’t get the chance to ask any questions. Then, in the same day, there was a surprise info session. We learned about the company and the associates that are there. The first interview process ended up lasting about 3 hours. The second interview was within the next 2 days. They asked me the same thing, but this one was more personal. Before I knew it, I left with a job and had to pay $100 before even walking out the door. I had called back a few hours after leaving to say that I re-evaluated my decision because I felt on the spot and I have no sales experience so I did not think I would be successful enough to survive only in this role. The woman at the front desk, who, throughout the whole process was extremely friendly, became very hostile when I asked to be reimbursed the money that I paid. Overall, the job title was not what it seemed. If you do not have any sales experience, I would say this job wouldn’t be the best start. They said you will shadow for the maximum of 1 week and then go off on your own.
