First I had an interview with the hiring manager, which went well. We talked about my experience and then I was invited to an assessment. For reasons that escape me they decided the best way to do this was to share their screen which meant I had to keep asking them to scroll up and down and I couldn't copy any data - I had to read it off the screen and then type it into my own spreadsheet. The whole process introduced an unnecessary awkwardness that made me feel that the company isn't really up to speed with the times.
Why they didn't just send me a file with the exercise I'll never know.

Interview
Maths and language test, takes 15 minutes and online. Not much to say about it it's quite straightforward. After that it takes a few days for them to get back to you notifying whether you get through to the next stage of the process.
The interview was over the phone and was great quality, engaging and enjoyable. It lasted just over 25 minutes and all my questions were answered with detail and accurate knowledge.
