5 rounds of interview, it was a very tiring process. Maybe because of COVID, the process was disorganized. 3 out of 5 interviewers missed scheduled time. 1 of them rescheduled twice after interview started, and 1 slept 15 minutes passed the starting time.
If you plan to interview with Zoom, make sure you get the recruiter's and coordinator's number. And make sure the Job Description matches the Job Function.
Step 1: Recruiter screening (1 hour). Step 2: Interviewed with Director of Analytics. Very basic conversation with 2 technical questions Power BI and Python (1 hour, the director left Zoom 2 month after I interviewed). Step 3: Interview with a panel of future co-workers (3 people). Coding exam in Python (1 hour). Step 4: Interview with Senior Data Engineer (1 hour). BI questions and data engineering questions - What is a Slow Changing Dimension? Step 5: Interview with the future direct boss (1 hour). At this time he FINALLY mentioned that this position is meant to hire a Data Engineer instead of a BI Engineer.
