Interview
I was contacted by an energetic and informative recruiter for Zelis. She and I discussed the role and this growing company. Once we were were done with our call, I felt excited to be considered. Shortly after, I was contacted by another member of the recruiting team who quickly coordinated for me to meet with the hiring manager and the rest of the coding team. Not only was everyone friendly, but so informative. You can see and feel the passion that each person I spoke with had for what they did and for Zelis. Truly a great team and company that is building and growing!

Question 1
They asked me questions like my provider and payer coding experience, Medicare and national guidelines and how I applied them in my previous roles, medical billing, etc.
Initial interview with the recruiter went well. Friendly, good overview of the company and job description. Follow up interview with hiring manager, team and director. Conversational interview with questions about my background and experience.
