Interview
This was a disappointment, because there's a lot to like here. The mission is important, and the staff I met across multiple teams came across as passionate and committed to the work. I was excited about this opportunity.
The interview process itself was substantial — an initial interview with the CEO, followed by a roughly four-hour onsite that included a building tour, meetings with multiple teams, and a final interview.
After the final round, I was told to expect an update on the hiring process by a specific window. That window came and went with no communication. The job posting has now been removed, so I’m assuming they filled it. As of this writing, I have received no update.
In my opinion, an organization built around caring for people should extend basic consideration to the people in its hiring process. Candidates take a lot of time to prepare for and fully show up to these interviews. A two-line email costs nothing.
Advice to leadership: Close the loop with everyone you interview, even when the answer is no. The mission deserves a process that matches it.

It was smooth, I rescheduled many times but they were accommodating. I had 3 people on the panel and they asked really good question. I loved their warmth and openness to learn.
