      Art Instructor Interview

      Feb 27, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Young Art

      Interview

You get thrown into unpaid work just to see how well you interact with children. Even if you do get hired, you still won't be paid for it. It's awkward since they just expect you to know what you're doing even if you have never drawn anything the kid requested to draw.

      Art Instructor Interview

      Mar 21, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Young Art (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2017

      Interview

First they made me do a phone interview where they asked some very basic questions then I was required to do two in person interviews where they made me work for two hours (each) without pay. No real questions were asked they just put your directly to work after a quick tutorial. No pay is given for your work if they choose to hire you.
