The process started with three rounds with the TurnKey team. They focused on my English communication, got to know my background, and made sure there was a real fit between what I can bring and what the client needed. They were also clear about what “Data Specialist” means from their side and what they’d expect from me.
After that, I moved to the client interviews. First was a technical round centered on analytical thinking, forming hypotheses, testing assumptions, and working through a problem in a structured way. Honestly, it was challenging in a good way and I learned a lot.
Next was the hiring manager interview. We talked about expectations, what success looks like, and how to ramp up in the first 30, 60, and 90 days.
The last step was a conversation with another Data Specialist, which was super helpful. It gave me the day to day view of the role and tied everything together.
Overall, it was a thorough process, well organized, and very transparent. By the end, I felt like I had a clear picture of the job and what I need to do to succeed.
