I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Year Up United (New York, NY) in Aug 2015
Interview
Review process was fairly easy, it was conducted over Skype. My only criticism would be that relying on Skype assumes certain conditions on the behalf of the applicant. Namely, that they have a computer with a camera and microphone and internet access. This may seem like it's not a big deal, but it may not be easy for some potential applicants to accommodate. While they gave the option for a phone interview, it was clear that they preferred the video option.
Other than that, it was easy, and the convenience of not having to travel to their office can't be understated. This was a recent interview, so I am still in consideration for the position.

Why do you want to work at Year Up?
Submitted application for role on Aug 4. One month and a half later, I get a one sentence email inviting me to a phone interview to take place the next day. Lack of professional courtesy turned me off from org despite its mission.
