I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at World Surf League in Jul 2022
Interview
Thru a recruiter, I was asked to submit 4 professional and 4 personal references after interviewing with the recruiter, one of the WSL mgrs and then that person's mgr (all on Zoom, 3 separate interviews) Then, I was asked to meet with the two managers in person. I didn't get the job. They have got to manage their expectations or figure out a way to interview people that isn't SO MUCH WORK. Don't meet anyone irl if you aren't 90% positive you're hiring them. There was no indication that I wasn't a shoe in, so to get rejected after all of this was a huge blow. The recruiter told me they were declining me but they gave her zero feedback as to why. As hr professionals, this was lousy treatment and they should know better. Manage the interview process and your expectations. This would be a terrible experience for any candidate, I can assure you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me the same HR questions every HR employer asks. "Define HR" while also being proud that they aren't "typical HR" professionals.
I applied online. I interviewed at World Surf League (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Everyone was very responsive, and very easy to talk to. The process was quick and easy to navigate. The best part about the process is interacting with people directly. They don't ever use automated responses which I respect tremendiously.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at World Surf League (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
HR requested available times, took 2 weeks to respond. Then requested availability again and scheduled it a week later to cancel an hour before the interview because “they have made an offer”
