Thru a recruiter, I was asked to submit 4 professional and 4 personal references after interviewing with the recruiter, one of the WSL mgrs and then that person's mgr (all on Zoom, 3 separate interviews) Then, I was asked to meet with the two managers in person. I didn't get the job. They have got to manage their expectations or figure out a way to interview people that isn't SO MUCH WORK. Don't meet anyone irl if you aren't 90% positive you're hiring them. There was no indication that I wasn't a shoe in, so to get rejected after all of this was a huge blow. The recruiter told me they were declining me but they gave her zero feedback as to why. As hr professionals, this was lousy treatment and they should know better. Manage the interview process and your expectations. This would be a terrible experience for any candidate, I can assure you.
