I applied online. I interviewed at World Bank Group (Washington, DC) in Mar 2021
Interview
IFC recruiting process is completely discombobulating and will leave you frustrated. The HR team does not have full oversight of the recruiting process, and the hiring teams don't show any interest in communicating with applicants.
HR will ask you to do several tests, video interviews, and online finance tests, and then after that, communication goes cold. Any attempts to look for additional information about the recruitment process is completely shunned upon. An HR analyst wrote to me this verbatim "you need to respect the process and wait like other applicants" This is after I wrote an email for the first time to ask for information after five weeks of zero communication from the team.
IFC HR knows that they will always receive thousands of applications for any job so they really don't care about the frustration they cause candidates. If you are applying to IFC good luck but expect the most frustrating recruitment process in the job market. My offer came 4 months after application - in that time I had applied to two other companies and received offfers.

1st round financial modeling test at Lagos office in Ikoyi. We were about 20, most of us who stayed in touch never heard back. I believe the recruitment was for West Africa so only had few overall slots for nigeria.
