I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at WorkOS
Interview
Pretty straight forward, be preppared to talk about past experiences in depth. They really dive deep into it, and ask a decent amount of clarifying questions.
Was a direct interview with the hiring manager.

Question 1
Describe a past experience end to end with the technical decisions and details.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WorkOS
Interview
The process is lengthy and tedious.
-Interview with HR
-Interview with the engineering manager
-Take-home assignment (unpaid)
-Technical interview with one engineer (live code session)
-3 final interviews with several engineers and managers
The last step is where things can go south. There are people with impressive backgrounds, but so are their egos. I could see that some managers are old and stuck in the past, and they don't know anything about newer methodologies. From what they shared, I could tell that the company was getting bigger but more bureaucratic.
