I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Wolt (Helsinki, Southern Finland) in Mar 2026
Interview
I went through a two-stage interview process at Wolt. The first round was a technical interview focused on my project work, followed by a final team interview.
During the process, Wolt reassessed my fit and concluded that I would be a stronger match for a different team than the one I initially interviewed with. As a result, I completed two final interviews—one with each team—before moving forward.
The entire process took approximately five weeks, with each stage lasting around two weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interviews included both technical discussions and behavioral questions - covering how I collaborate, give and receive feedback, and approach problem-solving in a team setting.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wolt (Berlin) in Mar 2025
Interview
The selection process starts with a home assignment, where you have two weeks to complete the task. You choose your path—Frontend or Backend—and the programming language (Python, in my case). If your submission is successful, you're invited to a technical interview with two engineers. Passing that stage leads to a meeting with your potential team lead, after which the final decision is made.
Interview questions [4]
Question 1
What technologies are you experienced with? (e.g., What is your tech stack?)
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wolt (Berlin) in Feb 2024
Interview
The process involves a task that entails creating a Python API endpoint. It has taken me some time to complete this assignment(More than one hour), and unfortunately, it seems that my application was not taken into consideration. Nevertheless, I was hoping for at least some constructive feedback.
