I made it through the first 2 stages of interviews for this role, and then didn’t hear back from them about the third stage. I contacted the hiring manager to see what the next stage would be, and was told some team members were off sick, and they would get back to me asap. I then never heard from them again. Not even confirmation that I was unsuccessful, they just ghosted me. Really poor etiquette.

Interview
I was given a case study to prepare and present. They supplied some data, outlined a few objectives, and explained what they wanted to see. The first warning sign was that no Zoom link was provided for the agreed interview slot. I followed up, but the internal TA was also off that day. The TA contacted me the next working day and we arranged a new time, which did go ahead.
The second issue was that I asked a clarifying question before starting the task and was told to raise it again during the presentation. This is highly unusual, especially since it impacted how I approached the case study. I managed by stating my assumptions, but they could have easily answered the question or at least explained that it was something I was expected to work out. I’ve completed many case studies, and this is the only company that has responded in this way.
The presentation itself was fine, though there are things I would improve. I wasn’t selected to move to the final stage. My final concern was the feedback provided: it was generic and contradictory, which was disappointing. If you ask candidates to prepare a case study, the least you can do is offer constructive feedback. I sent a polite follow-up message, but received no response.

Interview
Very positive experience. The team asked interesting and appropriate questions for the role within the culture fit interview and skills based rounds. They also left time to ask questions so they could share their experience within the business. From these conversations it seems like a great place to work; good culture where they care about their team, care about partners and is a successful business model.
