I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wizeline (Barcelona) in Feb 2026
Interview
First Stage: HR Screening
The process started with a call from HR. I quickly realized that the position was not what I had applied for; the original description mentioned AI-native technology solutions, but the actual role was for an external client in the financial sector. The recruiter couldn't disclose the client's name at that stage. We went over my previous experience and the salary, which was lower than what I had noted, though they mentioned there was some room for negotiation.
Second Stage: Portfolio Review & Whiteboard Challenge
I moved forward to an interview with two Wizeline designers who are currently working with that financial client. For 45 minutes, I presented a case study from my portfolio, and they asked several questions. Afterward, we did a whiteboard challenge. I have to say the designers were very collaborative and gave me great feedback during the exercise, even though I didn't have enough time to finish it. Surprisingly, even at this stage, I still didn't know the name of the client I was interviewing for.
Outcome: Ghosting
After the technical round, I never heard back. I understand that not finishing the challenge or other factors might lead to a "no," but receiving no communication at all after investing that much time is very unprofessional.
Buen proceso, preguntas básicas para conocerte. Cuentame de ti y tus habilidades técnicas. Después de hablar con RH, pasan al área técnica. El proceso es bastante agradable y te notifican las actualizaciones.
