I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wisconsin Public Television (Madison, WI) in Mar 2016
Interview
Applied online, there was a phone interview, then there was an inperson interview with 2 people. They variated in asking questions. Both of them listened to responses, it didnt seem as if there were any "gotcha" questions. After that part of the interview, one of the directors gave a quick tour of the work area, which I thought was great.
I applied online. I interviewed at Wisconsin Public Television in Nov 2015
Interview
I was invited for a first round interview with a mix of WPT staff and board members. It was a 15 minute phone interview with 1 interviewer asking the questions and 4 more listening in. There were 3 questions asked and then time for the interviewee to ask questions. I was disappointed when it was time for me to ask questions, because some of the interviewers had either dropped off the call, were never on, or couldn't figure out how to un-mute themselves. I know this because some questions were directed to at least 2 of those individuals. How are they going to fully assess my overall potential if they aren't even going to listen to the full 15 minutes?
