I was put through the process really quicky, they wanted to hire someone soon. I first had a video chat interview with the hiring managed, which went really well. He is based in the Boston office but was going to be in town the following week and wanted to meet me, so I went in for a face-to-face interview with him, and the other person on the team. Some more in-depth questions were asked and while I did not give exct answers, i was told it was expected that I would not have the greatest answer because I’m early on in my career and they wanted an entry level person. Overall I thought it went well, until I tried thanking them and following up and got crickets back. An email or phone call would have been polite, especially since without feedback I don’t know how to improve. I only found out I didn’t get the job aftr they removed the job posting and I saw an online posting about their newest member and they had the job title I applied for. Not the best experience in the end, because after getting shoved through the process and getting crushed, they got my hopes up.
