Interview

Started with a phone screen to initially get an idea of who I was as a person. Once I got through, got called into the Boulder office for a face to face interview with the CEO. Was a stress-free environment.

Interview

In a phone interview, some very basic questions were asked to assess programming knowledge and skills. This was followed by some questions about my experience programming and my projects from my resume. Another phone interview following this had some more technical questions and in-depth questions about my background, and experience as well as my interests, hobbies, etc. It all went smoothly, and they were completely respectful the whole way through.

What is 2 in a base 2 system? What is an interface? Very simple stuff for initial screening, got harder for the follow-up, but nothing unreasonable.

After two questions they said they were not going to waste my time or theirs. Very rude. Couldn’t understand the interviewer. Had to have him repeat the question several times.

I’m sorry you felt the interview was short. Our initial phone interviews are generally 1/2 hour long and the interview with you was about that long. And you stopped the interview, not us. I’m also sorry you found the interviewer’s accent difficult. We have a diverse workforce, which is a very good thing, and that means a variety of accents. And when you said you were having trouble, the other interviewer then took over asking the questions. I wish you the best in your job search.
