I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at White Plains Hospital (White Plains, NY) in Jan 2026
Interview
For a phlebotomy job I believe interview process was a too rigid and long it was four rounds of interviews… for a low pay entry level job? Really? They sounded desperate and the short staff complaint was a big turnoff because it sounds like they spread their phlebotomist thin.
The two virtual interviews are pretty easy resume walk through, the in person one is more how you mess with the team and demonstrating the skill that you claim you have. The final phone screen by the head most manager is just to ensure that you didn’t lie in the previous rounds and more cross referencing basically.

Interview
The interview process consists of three stages designed to assess candidates thoroughly. It begins with an initial virtual interview, followed by a phone interview, and concludes with a final department interview with the team.
Recruiter set up phone call with me for first round of interview with her, after a interview with the managers of the unit was set up (the next step), then “peer interview” was arranged” then I got an offer. Everything happened quickly. All within a week.
