Formal interview with 2 people and then lesson demo for 20 mins. Topic was given to prepare from home. Taught 2 teacher not real student which was not easy. Did not enjoy it

They gave you a 45 minute task to do a spread sheet which was fairly basic excel stuff. Then it was a 45 minute interview with 7 questions. They made me feel like I got the job however I didn’t and they said you have a brilliant interview I was quite surprised after that didn’t no what to think to be honest.

Interview
I would like to briefly discuss the toxic work atmosphere and bullying environment among colleagues that I sensed during the interview.
1. The interviewers were from the ESOL department but exhibited a severe tendency towards workplace bullying. Throughout the interview, the two interviewers from the ESOL department were unhappy. It seemed as though they were reluctant to welcome a new colleague, perhaps fearing that their jobs might be threatened. The entire interview process felt like they didn't want to be there but had to attend, which, to some extent, reflects the toxic and bullying work environment and atmosphere within the campus.
2. Furthermore, it seemed that, perhaps out of a desire not to welcome any new colleagues, these two interviewers did not want to conduct the interview at all. They likely could not say no to a task assigned by management, so they conspired to create a toxic atmosphere.
3. The interviewers were very unprofessional, and the views they expressed during the interview contradicted the latest research, recommendations, and methods in the ESOL field that I have recently studied. This indicates that they have not kept up-to-date with relevant knowledge and understanding in the ESOL field, and their teaching methods are outdated.
To Upper Management:
1. Multiply the cost of hiring new teachers by 0.8 and divide it among these two current ESOL teachers who seem unwilling to accept a new colleague (at least, that's the impression they gave). Let them share the workload of the new teacher so that, at the very least, they can maintain psychological balance.
2. Use the remaining 20% of the funds to cover psychological counselling fees for these two interviewers, as it is clear that they have serious psychological issues. If left untreated, these problems could affect the entire workplace atmosphere.
To Prospective Interviewees:
Avoid this College, or at least this department. I'm not a particularly sensitive person, but even during a brief 20-minute first-round interview, I could sense the workplace bullying and toxic environment created by these teachers, which indicates that this institution has a deeply troubling environment. It is foreseeable that working here will severely damage your physical and mental well-being.
To Current ESOL Lecturers/Interviewers:
1. Seek psychological counseling. As a teacher, severe psychological issues not only harm you but also have a seriously negative impact on students.
2. Try to be more tolerant of your colleagues; you will benefit significantly from it.
3. Don't worry. I hope life will treat them better.
