      Program Manager Interview

      Sep 30, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Salt Lake City, UT
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WebBank (Salt Lake City, UT) in Jul 2020

      Interview

I was called regarding a Program Manager Role at WebBank, first conversation was with the Hiring Leader of the role, second conversation was with the HR representative. Both individuals were very open and descriptive of the role and responsibilities, as well as the organization structure to the point that I understood the requirements and expectations of the role, and the overall business strategy.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Conversation and questions requesting details about previous work experience, how I overcame challenges and road blocks. Additionally, they asked me about my willingness to be flexible and accommodate a work from home environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
      Answer question

      Question 2

The interview was very conversational. The Hiring Leader and HR representative both wanted to get to know me individually, and understand my background, history, and experience. It was a great opportunity for me to ask questions and learn about the organization as well.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WebBank

      Interview

Long. Was interviewed by at least 5 people including the chairman of the board. This should have been a sign to me about the board's micromanagement of the company... overall the interview process was not difficult, but the process was inefficient. This would prove to be a theme I would come across time and time again.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Don't recall specifics. In general they wanted to know how you handled conflict or friction between two organizations.
