      I applied online. I interviewed at WeInfuse (Austin, TX) in Jan 2023

      Interview

      I participated in three rounds of interviews with the recruiter, CSS peers, and CSS directors. I also completed a gallop assessment that presented extremely strong characteristics. A week after meeting the directors (one of which was almost 10 minutes late and missed hearing about my work experience), I received a general email saying I did not get the position. I was devastated because I was told by everyone I spoke to I was the right candidate for the job. I had difficulty categorizing this interview because the conversations went better than I could have imagined. Still, I can't help but have a sour taste in my mouth after spending over 3+ hours in interviews, 1.5 hours taking an assessment, and over 4+ hours researching for the interviews all to get a generic email saying no thank you. I emailed the recruiter twice to ask for feedback, but I have yet to receive a response. I truly enjoyed my time with WeInfuse, which is why I am upset it didn't work out, but PLEASE, in the future, please don't give a candidate who spent countless hours with you a generic email declining their candidacy and then not respond to their heartfelt email asking for feedback.

      Thank you for the feedback. We're glad the conversations themselves were enjoyable and that you connected with our team. For context, our standard interview process consists of 30-minute sessions, and the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment typically takes 30-40 minutes to complete; so we'd expect the total time commitment to be around 1.5 hours, unless you progress to the final interview, which is an additional 1-hour, in-person meeting. If your experience ran significantly longer than that, we'd like to know. We do regret that the end of the process didn't reflect the same care as the interviews themselves. If you'd like specific feedback, please reach out to your recruiter and we'll make sure someone responds. We wish you well.
