I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2018
Interview
First I met with an assistant or shift manager, who I'm sure was screening me to ensure that I would be a correct fit for the position. It was casual and low - key, and I was informed about the details of the position and asked if I'd be interested in continuing the hiring process by interviewing with the store manager. Upon my acceptance, the store manager just so happened to be available at the time so I was able to proceed with the second interview right away. My interview with the store manager was also fairly casual but clearly more important. During this time my hourly rate was discussed as well as specific hours and days I would be required to work.

Question 1
One of the worst types of questions you can be asked in an interview are the various "tell me about a time when" questions. There were several of these types of questions, all with the intention of getting you to think on your feet, and provide a similar customer service situation in which you have experience.
Interview was 20 minutes and asked basic questions. Interviewer was very friendly and welcoming. They bring you into the office and ask all the basics. They ask about past jobs and why you want to work there.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walgreens (Houston, TX)
Interview
I met with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager of the store, it was a typical interview. They asked about my work experience and my availability. There was also a drug test offsite (urine).
Quick and basic questions. Nothing extreme hired on the spot and started the following week. Very nice manager who interviewed. Wanted my history & work experience. Usually I’m pretty anxious during interviews but not this one.
